EWM : Advanced Production Integration - Master Data

Hi Experts,

I have a question regarding the master data Setup for the Advanced Production Integration in Embedded EWM 1909.

  • In my case we have multiple PSAs in warehouse, is it must to map each and every material to the specific PSA in /SCWM/PSASTAGE2 transaction? if yes then is there any Standard template to upload or change mapping in case of many materials?
  • Is there any standard master data template to link the material to "Product Group" for cross order / single order staging? (or way to change in bulk)

regards,

Hello Hamza,

you do not have to maintain each combination of product and PSA. If the PSA depends on product groups, you could use the combination of PSA-"product group" instead.

If the PSA depend on staging methods, you will only need PSASTAGE entries for staging methods.

There is no mass load of PSASTAGE entries.

What is meant with "template to map product group to materials"?

You would define an SCM product group in customizing/IMG. and assign that product group to each affected product in Product Master /SAPAPO/MAT1 / /SCWM/MAT1). Mass change of products should be Tx MASSD.

by template, I meant the kind of excel file similar to "Stock upload" functionality.

So there is no such template , we need to do it by Tx MASSD.

Hello Patrick,

Would it be possible to direct 1 material to two different PSAs?

For example, if we need 1 material in 2 different Production lines having 2 different PSAs? so how we can deal with this issue?

Have you tried to create the PSASTAGE entries with the actual material numbers and two different PSAs? That would be the first approach that comes to my mind to route the same material to different PSAs / production lines. ...

Hello, I did a test with the same material on 2 different PSAs and the result is that system always picks the 1st PSA by default without considering the 2nd PSA. Is there any ways to influence the PSA selection?

Hi,

"Is there any ways to influence the PSA selection?"

The PSA comes from your manufacturing order, that is not selected in EWM.
