EWM - Advanced production integration and GI not triggered for PSA

Dear EWM Gurus

I'm currently using advanced production integration to stage products to PSA

- Production order > PMR > WO/WT > product is in PSA

Client's requirement is to post good issue when stock arrives at PSA.

Hence i have flagged the option in t-code /SCWM/PSA.

Nevertheless, it seems stock is not automatically consumed. Nothing has changed.

Documentation says the system only evaluates the field if outbound delivery process for prodution supply deliveries is used.

Do i understand this flag/logic does not work for advanced production integration and PMRs ?

If not, did i miss something in customizing ? Is there a workaround ?

Thanks for your valuable support

Best regards

Hi,

"Do i understand this flag/logic does not work for advanced production integration and PMRs ?"

Yes, you do understand this correctly. This flag is only for a delivery-based integration scenario, and when the product actually leaves the warehouse, meaning the receiving storage location is NOT connected to the supplying warehouse.

All the above is no official SAP statement.

Want to learn EWM?

Check for EWM courses: https://training.sap.com/search?q=ewm

Get a SAP Learning Hub Subscription: https://training.sap.com/learninghub

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Do you have in mind a possible workaround i can use to get this done ?

No, not in the standard.

Also because: "Client's requirement is to post good issue when stock arrives at PSA."

You mean the GI for the production order? What process is that supposed to be? The idea of production staging is that you use backflushing resp. post the GI when the products have been used by production, not when they are staged.
