EWM 9.5 ECC EHP7 or EHP8??

Hi Experts,

We are planning to upgrade ECC to latest EHP and would like to consider the compatibility between EWM 9.5 and ECC EHP7 or EHP8. If we continue to upgrade to ECC EHP7 only will there be major features that we will be missing between EWM 9.5 and EHP7 that was introduced with EWM 9.5 and EHP8, we tried finding a direct documentation reference which could help us differentiate the same but haven't come across any such documentation so far. Kindly suggest.

The future of EWM is EWM as part of S/4 HANA, whether embedded or decentralized.

EWM 9.5 is the last version of EWM that will run on the SCM foundation.

Thanks for your response and help in understanding the EWM roadmap, with S/4 HANA as the future this completely makes sense. Now the question arises if the communicating ERP is converted to S/4 HANA will the existing EWM 9.5 usage discontinued and the embedded EWM will be used or the said EWM 9.5 can still be integrated with the upgraded/converted S/4 HANA systems.

Edit: As per SAP Note 2545892 First steps for implementing SAP EWM 9.5 (as classical warehouse integrated with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA) - EWM 9.5 can connect with both ERP or S/4
