Error while uploading key figure data to planning book for SNP using BAPI

We have a requirement to upload key figure data from excel to planning book for SNP.

Developed custom report to upload data from file and called BAPI - BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL2 to upload key figure data. But this is returning error message - "Key figure *** is not included in planning area". Message Id - APO_BAPI - 291.

We have this key figure in planning book. Can you please suggest how to get rid of this error and upload data to planning book successfully.
