Dear All,
We want to consolidate the deployment STRs for 2 destinations into one STO using APO TLB. Our scenario is described below:
Location A sends goods to Location B & Location C. Location B & C are close to each other and hence we want to combine the shipments from A to these two locations. To map this scenario, we performed below steps:
1) Create Transportation Zone Test_TZ (Location Type = 1005) in APO. Attach Test_TZ to 000 Model.
2) Create Location Hierarchy Z_LOC_H (With Hierarchy Structure = SNP_Location). In this Location hierarchy, we attached Location B&C under Test_TZ. Attached Test_TZ to 000 Model.
3) Created Transportation Lanes between A-->B, A-->C, A-->Test_TZ
4) Executed all SNP consistency checks.
5) Tried to load the Transportation Lane A-->Test_TZ in TLB View. However, the system gave below error while loading:
"Error determining the locations in Transportation Zone Test_TZ".
I searched the above issue in google. Somebody suggested to implement OSS Note 1446826. However this note is not applicable to our installation. We are using APO Version 713.
Can't figure out the missing link. Would really appreciate if someone can help.
Thanks and best regards,
Sameer

Dear Nikhil & Abhishek,
Thanks for your reply. I have been able to create TLB order using T.Zone after maintaining Transportation Relevant Hierarchy Structure.
As expected, the system created 2 STOs - first one from A-->B and second from A-->C. These 2 STOs will go in the same truck. My question is that if there are more than one truck planned between A and Transportation Zone (consisting of Location B & C) then during execution, how will the planner know which STOs will go in a particular truck. Eg - if TLB generates 4 truck loads, then during integration, system will create 8 STOs. So how can we know which STOs are paired together for shipment.
Thanks again for your earlier replies.
Beat regards,
Sameer

Hello Sameer
The TLB should create one STO for one truck load. It can have multiple line items in the same STO with different material and destination locations from the transportation zone.
So when you are saying it created 2 STOs one for A--> B and one for A-->C I think it created full load for each STO as per your TLB profile.
Validate the quantity of the STO with respect to floor spots or any other restriction as per your TLB profile.

Abhishek
Hello Anand,
Check if you have maintained following customization setting...
APO-->TP/VS-->Basic Setting-->Maintain Transportation-Relevant Hierarchy
In this Customizing activity, you assign transportation zone hierarchies and transportation service provider hierarchies, and you also define the application component for which these assignments are to be valid. In this way, you can assign a special function to the hierarchies that you defined previously in Customizing. This assignment only involves hierarchies and not generated hierarchies. The hierarchies that are available for selection for transportation zones or transportation service providers are defined as location hierarchies.

Abhishek

Hi Sameer,
Can you share your hierarchy.
Thanks, Nikhil

Hi Sameer,
Looks like error is due to application component assigned to z_loc_h
or
missing intrazone tlane.
