Error "Item 10 is not supported in EWM and cannot be distributed"

Hi,

We have a requirement in the warehouse where on getting an order from a customer, 3rd party sends the product, and PO is created to receive the same product in the warehouse w.r.t to customer order (sales order).

To test this scenario, I created PO with reference to the sales order by maintaining account assignment 'C' (sale order). Next inbound delivery is created, but this Inbound delivery is not getting distributed to EWM. The error which I am getting is "Item 10 is not supported in EWM and cannot be distributed".

Can you please help to resolve this issue.

Hi,

It seems that you create an inbound delivery with reference to purchase order items that contain account assignment information.
The message VL895 that you're mentionning is created by OSS note 1136834.

You should check OSS note 1745065 - Distribution of material-free inbound delivery items with account assignment.
