Error in MRP Run

Hi,all

I maintained base uom with 'coil' and the table conversion is 1 coil = 2,000 kg in product master

Planning UoM is Kg

Bom UoM is 'coil'

When MRP run, I've got 781 error messages (quantity of 06E........... not sufficient). Why ?

Only this uom 'coil' cannot be use. If I changed base uom 'coil' into uom 'ea', planning uom is kg, bom uom is 'ea'. There was no problem in MRP run.

Can anyone explain it ?
