We are using the EIS Analytics (AIM) as our primary reporting capability of EIS data. The performance using the dashboard is much slower than anticipated and requires our planners to continuously wait to see the data as they slice and dice it. Each time they change a slicer, the data takes well over a minute to refresh.
From our analysis, the SAP generated queries choke out the EIS DB server w/4 CPUs / 32GB of memory.
Has anyone else using this functionality experienced poor performance and have advice on how to improve it?
Thank you.

Request clarification before answering.
TJ, there are several factors affecting the performance of the EIS Analytics module, most are unique for each installation. Our Support team has diagnosed this type of problem before with other users so it's not a question that can be easily answered through a dialog here. I suggest you open an incident on the SAP Service Marketplace, include SCM-EIS in your description and it will be routed to the right people for review and resolution.
