I've read similar threads to my question but this problem I am having seems unlike the others.
The scenario I have is that I have an ODO with multiple items for an STO delivery, in this case I need to reduce a single item to zero (or some lesser quantity) but there is no update to the ECC delivery.
I understand that if I create an OD for the line in EWM (in the scenario where I reduced the entire qty to zero) the split delivery is sent to ECC, and is visible in the STO purchase order history tab, but the original parent delivery remains unchanged and still appears with the full qty.
I also understand that when all remaining items on the same ODO are either posted in full or also reduced to zero, only then will the qty for the item I had originally reduced be updated to zero in ECC.
This is not fast enough though as in our business process we get ODOs with hundreds of items, and often need to reduce a single line item to zero much sooner than the rest of the delivery will be closed out.
Can anything be done to make it so that when we process code an EWM ODO the corresponding delivery in ECC will also be updated at the same time?
