Double stacked pallets

We have double stacked pallets in our warehouse (2 pallets in one bin). It now happens that when picking, SAP has a pallet picked from one bin and then a pallet from another bin. However, we want to keep the double stacked pallets together. Each pallet has its own HU. Is this possible?

Hi,

as Patrick wrote, the stock removal rule is the thing which controls this. If you have FEFO and all HUs have the same dates, maybe it would help to add the bin as additional sort field in the stock removal rule. As long as you always pick two HUs, that should be sufficient. But as soon you have one bin with only one HU, that of course will again not work. In that case, I would think the appropriate BAdI is the only solution.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hello,

My thoughts, or at least an investigation of your case:

In EWM Standard, there are stock removal rules to determine the stock which should be taken. Default would be FIFO or FEFO, which means that quants for removal are sorted by GR-date or by expiration date. Check the attributes of your stock and your removal rules.

You may experiment with own rules:

IMG --> EWM --> Goods Issue --> Strategies.

Patrick

It's FEFO. All HU's have the same GR-date and expiration date.
