Double Pallet Type for A Material

Dear Expert,

My client wants to make different packing instructions for a material 

P = Pallet 1    => 10 M 

P= Pallet 2     => 20 M

Can we maintain this requirement?

In Public Cloud, you can maintain multiple Packaging Specifications for the same material using different pallet types (e.g., Pallet 1 for 10 units, Pallet 2 for 20 units), but there are key system restrictions to be aware of, as stated below.

• You need to create separate Packaging Specifications for each pallet type.
• The system requires correct Assignment Records to define how and when each packaging instruction applies — for example, based on quantity, customer, or sales area.
• From your screenshot, the error message indicates the required Assignment Record is missing, which prevents proper setup.
• Manual pallet selection inside the Packing Instruction is restricted; the system applies Packaging
• Specifications are automatically based on the assignment logic.
