Does Outbound driven Opportunistic Cross Docking work with POSC ?

Hi Gurus,

I have the below scenario.

Inbound in POSC driven - IB01 + IB03.

So I am doing the goods receipt to 9010 GR-ZONE but I wont confirm the putaway task i.e. GR-ZONE to final storage type. This will remain open.

Now I create an outbound order and creating the pick task. Same item and same qty.

My expectation is that a task will be created from GR-ZONE to GI-ZONE. But its not working.

I have done all the RF setting. Also the above works if my inbound doesnot have POSC.

...it will work with and without POSC.

Can you list all setups that you did to enable opportunistic CD process. We might then be able to tell you what is missing.

- product groups created and assigned to product master?

- stock determination adjusted?

- GR storage type included in STSS?

- ....

Thanks for your reply.

I have done the below settings for OCD.

1. Badi implementation

2. Product Group Created

3. Activate OCD in warehouse

4. Maintain Stock Removal Strategy to add 9010

The issue is the OCD WT is getting created from 9010 ( GR-ZONE ) to 9020 ( STAGE ). But its is stay in waiting status B. This because the HU is 9010 has Storage Process INB1 and External Step IB01. And HU is not compelete.

Could you please suggest to we need another step in between ?

Just to add I have done RF setup as well.

Do we need to process them using RF to avoid waiting task ?

Can you send a screenshot please of your POSC settings/customizing showing the steps of your storage process?
