Does IBP Data Integration access respects Authorization roles/ Permission filters?

Hi Experts,

Does IBP Data Integration access respects Authorization roles/ Permission filters.

For example: If your role have access only to edit KF1, also in the role you have 'Data Integration Jobs' app - will the the role allow to upload/change KF2, KF3 etc.

Also, if you have access to change Country 1 in Permission filters, with Data Integration can you load other countries?

Hi Basu,

The answer is NO. Whoever have access to data integration methods, can maintain any data.

For permission filters, this is described on the following documentation:

Permission Filters in IBP Applications

Permission filters are not relevant for this app because it is typically used by an administrator after the planning model has been set up. At this point in time, permission filters are normally not required because the full data set for that planning model needs to be imported into the system. Only with an unrestricted set of data can the admin verify if the planning model has been correctly set up.
