Distribute Quantity in EWM Outbound Delivery Order

Hi Community,

I'm exploring some options to split an EWM Outbound Delivery Order item into multiple sub-items, and would like to try the "Distribute Quantity" function in the Outbound Delivery Order (see screenshot). However, when I try to execute this function I get the following error:

Item not relevant for quantity distribution - Message No. /SCWM/DELIVERY_UI087

I can't find any useful documentation which explains when an item is relevant for quantity distribution; hopefully someone in this community can help me out!
