Dear Team,
Please find the below attached screen shots regarding distance determination in Freight Order.
1. Distance is determined in Transportation Lane by the Transportation proposal .The lane is created between shipping point and Business Partner Location. The distance it is calculating is 1,184KM
2. When I am creating a Freight unit and copying that to Freight Order the distance in the stage is 1.947,698. The same source and destination location as given is Point 1 is taken here.
3. I have used the same mode of Transport in Freight Order as I have taken in the lane.
4. Please can you tell me why this difference is coming?

Dear Karthikeyan,
Please find the screen shot attached.
I have ticked the Fixed distance in my lane. But still the distance is coming the same as before in Freight Order.
Please also find the screen shots of Shipping point and Business Partner from location master that shows the Geo Codes.
Shipping point and Business Partner location (ZIP_ZONE_1) are only used in the lane.

Hi Sandip,
Based on the screenshot, I could notice the lane is maintained from Shipping point location to Zip code location (as zone). During FO creation, system tries to calculate distance between Shipping point geo codes and zip code geo codes (maintained in location master). It will be straight line distance if no GIS integration is available.
Can you mark "Fixed distance" in your lane and check the behavior with new Freight Order?
Regards,
Karthikeyan
