Hi All,
Is it possible to display a Key figure data in more than one UoM? We have following scenario:
There are two versions ( Base and UPSIDE) where we have maintained different base unit of measurement ( PC and KG) respectively with conversion factor 1PC = 2 KG. While loading data in excel planning view,
1. Both the versions are selected
2. While selecting KF to be displayed, Unit of measure to ID is selected as PC
When we load, we can see KF data for both the versions but their value remain same irrespective of conversion factor. For ex-
KF in base version (PC) = 100 100 100 100
KF in UPSIDE version ( KG) = 100 100 100
This is happening as we have selected PC while loading data but we want to see value in upside version after conversion ( 200 200 200 instead of 100 100 100)
Is there any way to do it? Kindly let me know.

Hi,
Maintain uom as 1BU and uom conversion factor as 1 in respective version-specific MDTs against this product. While pulling data in planning view, select target UoM as 1BU. This will show data in their respective Base UoM. Base Version will show data in EA, other version will show data in PC.
Hope this helps!!

Piyush

Hi Lokesh,
Thanks for quick reply. Version specific conversion factor is maintained. It is same as base version. This is how it looks when i use target UoM= PC in Edit planning view> Key Figures. It is converting to PC in both version

This is how it looks when i use target UoM = EA in Edit planning view> Key Figures. It is converting to EA in both version

We want it to look like this irrespective of target UoM we choose while editing planning view where system should convert data based on base UoM maintained for that version

Hi illford.in,
Are you using version-specific master data types? (in your case version-specific UOM conversion).
If not, then the system is behaving as expected. MDT is by default at the base version. In the base version for the given product, you would have maintained PC to PC as 1. So even though you have chosen a different version in the planning view, the system is still referring to the base version master data type and populating 1:1 ratio values for KG also. (target UOM in Planning view is PC)
To meet your requirement, maintain version-specific MDT.
Thanks and Regards,
Lokesh
