Hi Expert EWM,
We have a process requested by Customer to transfer material in Embedded EWM in the same plant between 2 storage location (same Warehouse number).
We want used Direct Outbound Delivery (SCWM/PRDO) to create outbound delivery from EWM.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Dan

Hi,
"We need delivery because we have shipment between 2 storage locations."
Why do you need that? If the two storage locations are in the same plant and the stock is in the same warehouse, you don't "need" that.
OK, if you have several interco and intraco transfers (and in most cases you need deliveries), I understand and agree that it is indeed better to do all these the same way. It is not nice if you have to change a storage location to storage location transfer just depending on the org structures.
"If we test with same plant same Warehouse number that Don't work and also if we test wtith same plant two Warehouse number & two storage location."
WHAT does not work? I can imagine in the intrawarehouse scenario... no, I can not really imagine :-). The problem is: you create an outbound delivery - but how does the material then come into the warehouse again? And where do you enter the receiving storage location? I would think that is the issue. You create an direct delivery, enter a ship-to-party - but this is never dependent on a storage location, isn't it?

Hi Juergen,
We have done process using ship to party and the issue was that Customizing for relation Plant storage location and different sales organization with Customer was missed.
Now, process Direct Outbound Delivery from EWM between storage location works fine as plant to plant with PO created automatically in ERP permiitng creation inbound delivery to solve STO process.
Thanks a lot

Dear Daniel,
We are facing to the same situation and the requirement is "Direct delivery order in EWM to manage STO between two storage location in same plant and same EWM number".
Did you succeed to make it work?
Thank you very much of your reply.
My best regards

Hi,
We have a similar customer requirement to create stock transfer orders towards 2 different storage locations (and 2 different EWM warehouses) that belong to the same plant. We want to use Direct Outbound Delivery orders to achieve this. We have created 2 separate business partners for the 2 warehouses, but can assign only 1 BP to the plant, which is the party entitled to dispose for both storage locations/warehouses.
How can we choose the receiving storage location in the direct outbound delivery order? We have tried to assign different BP's to the supply chain units that are linked to the 2 warehouses in /SCWM/LGNBP, but this is not working.
Thanks in advance!

Solved!
Turns out we needed to maintain the customer in table T001L, where you can specify the business partner belonging to the plant/storage location combination. This can be maintained in SPRO via Logistics - General -> Handling Unit Management -> Basics -> Materials Management -> Inventory Management -> HU Requirement for Storage Locations and Default Values for Deliveries.
Hi,
You have
- one plant
- two storage locations
- connected to the same warehouse number?
Why do you want to create a delivery at all? All you need is a posting change and you can create that directly in EWM.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Thanks Juergen.

We have realized tests for interco and intraco, direct delivery process works fine. If we test with same plant same Warehouse number that Don't work and also if we test wtith same plant two Warehouse number & two storage location.
Have we a limit on this process (DOD) in these case?
