Difference in component quantity of Production Order between ERP and APO after PGI

Hello Experts,

We have manufacturing order with one component in ERP and APO. We post a goods issue for this component using 261 mvt through MIGO. But this information does not transfer to APO - quantity for reservation of component does not change in APO. We see error code 506 in report /sapapo/CCR - REQUIREMENT/RECEIPT &1 FOR ORDER &2: DIFFERENCE IN MRP QUANTITY. If we choose "Send to APO" than quantity for reservation changes and inconsistency is corrected.

The main question - why information about goods issue does not transfer in APO automatically? Active integration model for manual reservations exists for this component.

Hello,

In R/3, generate and activate integration models with which manual reservations are integrated for the components of their production orders. This is also necessary if the reservations in R/3 are not reduced manually, but rather via confirmations and backflushing.

So do you have this issue for all the components for which you posted 261 movement?

Means error message /SAPAPO/CIF 506 'Requirement/receipt &1 for order &1: Difference in MRP quantity for all the orders componetes posted with MIGO 261 movement?

Also check CFC9 setting for Update Logic: Manufact. Orders = 2 Use Update Logic, Automatic Retransfer

Thank you for answer.

When we convert planned order to production order in APO, RFC-user automatically created reservation for components for this production order. Than we post a goods issue for this reservation of component using 261 mvt through MIGO. But quantity for reservation of component does not change in APO.

We analyzed the code. The reason for this system behavior is reservation which created automatically is not exist in APO system.

Can you give as some advise how we can fix this situation?

Hello,

Reservation should appear in product view //RRP3 for the components of production order.

Make sure that you have an active integration model for production order and reservation . May be you can try report RIMODINI for your integration model and check if reservation appear in APO.

If appear then post the good issue 261 against the production order and check if reservation gets reduced. May be you can test this very well in your quanlity system.

To retransfer the production order you can use program RCIFORDT also you RCIFORDER_RESERVATIONS_COMPARE

This report checks reservations of production/process orders
* between APO and R/3 and gives the possibility to transfer
* the inconsistent orders back to APO to keep them in sync
