hi experts,

am getting a bit confused on if this is how a system should work or not for this scenario . I have two timestream id which is 6 working days and 7 working days. The 6 working days is assigned to the planning calendar. The horizon calendar is also showing 6 working days . Also a factory calendar which is 7 working days is assigned to the resource . Will these has not effect on requirement quantity and date

Hi,

In case of SNP, you can refer to KBA 1924669.
In most cases, resource calendar (as long as it's considered during planning), it will take priority than the calendar assigned to the location.

Hi Dapo,

Both the Factory Calendar as well as the Calculation Rule definitions maintained in /SAPAPO/CALENDAR are considered to generate the periods in the Time Stream.

Example: Calculation Rule has working days = Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In the Time Stream, all Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays will be working days, as long as they are also working days in the Factory Calendar.

Regards,
Tiago
