Difference between the strategy tab in the Heuristics and the strategy Profiles

Hi All

I am new to PPDS and I am trying to find out the difference between the Strategy Tab in the Heuristics and the strategy Profiles in the global parameters.
From the following link Difference between srategy profile and strategy tab in heuristics I could understand that when we set the indicator Use Strategy Settings from Heuristic indicator on the Basic Settings tab page in the heuristic, the heuristic picks the strategy settings from the heuristics but unfortunately I couldn't find such an indicator in the basic settings page.

So can anyone just explain me on how strategy tab and strategy profile differs?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hi Shiva,

The program will always take into account the strategy setting in the heuristic if your heuristic has the Strategy Tab, e.g. in heuristic SAP_PP_002.
For the strategy profile in /SAPAPO/RRPCUST1, check F1 help please, it will you very detailed information.

Hello Claire. I have a question. If the heuristic does not have a Startegy Tab, then which one will take into account? If it does not take into account the one from the global settings, how does the pegging work, for exmaple? Thank you very much!
