I need an orientation.
I have a scenario where to plan some transports (FO) I need the carrier to be already determined in the Freight Unit based on some routes that this carrier does.
To insert these routes I am using Default Routes with Transportation Zones.
But here I already had the first problem.
How do I assign the Transportation Zone to the customer?
In the Transportation Zone I can register the postal code interval, but as I noticed, the TM doesn't do the automatic determination.
In Business Partner I can only assign the former LE-TRA Transportation Zones.
Then the problem I'm having is to configure the Optimizer to determine the Carrier in the Freigth Unit.
The Carrier Selection Settings I configured as follows:
Planning strategy: TSPS_DEF
Action After Carrier Selection Run: Assign Best Carrier
Consider Hierarchy: Consider all Locations, Transportations Zones, and MTr
In the Planning Profile I assigned this Carrier Selection Settings. And then assigned the Planning Profile in the Freight Unit Type.
Even so, the Carrier's determination did not work. What could be missing?
