Destination HU in outb.staging zone

Hi guys,

I have outb. process with the next steps:

OB01 (pick) - OB03  (staging)

I have maintained staging bay in /SCWM/STADET_OUT, for example st.bin SB-01

When outbound delivery created SB-01 is determined - it`s ok.

Then worker place 2 HUs (pallets) in SB-01, for example HU1 and HU2.

When worker completed picking (OB01) system propose move pick-HU (box) to dest. st.bin SB-01 and dest. HU = pick-HU.

How can worker confirmed WT to HU1 or to HU2 without applying exc.code chhu? I need choose dest.HU at the moment when confirm WT.

Hi,

I think you can achieve this through verification profile.

Pre-requisite

1. maintain HU mandatory in staging area.

2.dont create pick hu.But packing profile should be maintained in WOCR but create HU should be disabled.

3.either in storage type or in process type it should be maintained adopt content to pick HU as Suraj explained.

4.in verification profile disable dest HU scannig.

in this case even though des hu scanning is disabled since HU is mandatory in staging area it will prompt the operator enter the dest hu. At this point he can create the pick hu or he can scan already created HU i.e. HU 1 or HU 2

Hi,

you can create the pick HU if required. as per my knoledge if you deactivate the create HU. it will still propose the pack material but not HU number . if pick HU is required he will click on new hu (F2).

another option is available in packing profile "assign HU to task."  You can explore that option .

Control for HU Picking

You use this indicator to specify, dependent on the WM movement type, how the system should proceed when confirming a complete stock pick of a homogeneous handling unit (HU).

The indicator can have the following attributes:

• '   ':
  On the confirmation screen, the system proposes the first pick-HU assigned to the warehouse task as a destination storage unit, and sets the HU as the transfer indicator. This means that the source HU is adopted as a lower-level HU into the pick-HU.

• ' 1 ':
  On the confirmation screen, the system proposes the issuing handling unit as a destination HU during confirmation of the warehouse task, and sets the HU transfer indicator.

• ' 3 ':
  On the confirmation screen, the system proposes the first pick-HU assigned to the warehouse task as a destination HU, but does not set the HU transfer indicator. You should use this option, if only the product or the lower-level HUs should be withdrawn from the issuing handling unit. If the issuing handling unit is nested, you must enter the lower-level HUs during confirmation.

Regardless of the current value of the indicator, you can overwrite the proposals for the destination HU and the HU transfer indicator on the confirmation screen.

This indicator only controls system behavior during confirmation if you have the made the relevant Customizing settings for the storage type from which the stock removal will take place.

Hi Suraj!

This parameter control picking process. I haven`t problem with it.

Worker pick product in the box-HU 107055. Then system for pick-HU determine st.bin BCON-01 in staging zone. I need that worker can confirm putaway into HU1 or HU2 that placed on BCON-01.

But dest.HU = pick-HU by default:
