Hi
We have a situation where we have 4 DCs ( DC1 to DC4) that are being sourced by one plant and the plant does not have enough capacity to service all. So we want to prioritize the demand going from DCs to Plant, DC1 has highest priority, the system has to take all of the demand from DC1 first, if there is still capacity at plant, it has to consider covering DC2, then DC3 and then DC4.
I'm trying to see if there is an option like this within CTM...there is source determination, priorities in demand special sorting but I need the opposite, we need a way to tell the system about destination priorities....can this be done? please advise.

sure.. you can use location priority defined in the location master.

Hi
I think in your case you want Prioritizes demand coming from different locations.
On top of Kenneth mentioned, In the CTM profile in the demand tab you can prioritizing sequence in which demands are provided to CTM.
Please play around with different options given below. You can use simulation option to visualize how demand is getting prioritized.
Please let us know if this information helps you.
