Demand Plan "Make to Stock" combined "Make to order"

Hi,

A company has for them products both of strategy, "make-to-order" and "make-to-stock".

How can a Demand Planner account this two strategies in the planning view (IBP Demand)

Both variants should be considered in the demand plan.

Are there any feasible concepts for this?

How should it be constructed for the master data?

and so on 🙂

I hope, you can help me. I found some texts about PP but not for IBP and demand planning.

Hi Oliver,

It is not possible to segregate the demand based on planning strategy in IBP 1809.

In IBP demand planning can be both strategies together as a final demand plan. When we publish this demand to ECC or S/4HANA system as planned independent requirements and control it via production planning strategy groups (40, 20 or custom).

I need a demand plan for MTO. I saw in the SAP Book from "Sales and operation Planning with IBP" that there are different plannin strategy.

Also a MTO strategy. But how can a planning view looks like for this strategy ?
