Demand is not correctly propagated from DC to plant by Heuristic

Hi exports,

I am trying to configure new Supply Chain models and product for PoC. The issue i face now is that as noted in the title, demand is not propagated as expected from DCs to Plants. I am going to elaborate on setting so plz give me solution.

<Prerequisites>

This is the new supply chain model for FG called TEST-100.

BoM of TEST-100("1710_TEST-100" and "1710_TEST-101-S" are source ID used for Production Source Header and Production Source Item).

<what to do>

Consensus Demand for two customers, 401 and 402, are set. that is fine.

but the issue is that no production related KF shows value at Plants(201 and 202) even if heuristic is run successfully. when it comes to DCs(301/302), everything seems to be fine.

Of course, transportation between Plants and DCs, there are no values.

As long as checking Location Source MDT, connection between DCs(301/302) and Plants(201/202) seems to be fine.

these are the information I consider I should offer. If there is any missing information to offer, plz mention that. Thank you for addressing my question.

Hi Kenta,

Have you checked the below two things

1. Whether location sourcing ratio is assigned between DC and Plant node?

2. Whether 'Subnetwork' is assigned in the location product master data to all the possible combination?

Hello Kento

I think you have not configured the producton source header and item MDT properly.

product TEST-100 should have a single source ID for a particular plant. Please share details of production source header and item MDT.

Also check if you have maintained TRATIO and PRATIO correctly in the respective MDTs.

further run the operator in check mode and attach the result.

This is 100% master data issue and in order to nail that please provide the required details

Thank you all for addressing my issue kindly. Getting your advice, I found that I did not se any value in Location Sourcing ratio so that is why IBP did not give any error message(cuz the value was zero)

After setting appropriate value, it worked well. Thank you so much for both!
