After marking an SAP Extended Warehouse Management delivery document (PDO, FDO, ODR, PDI, IDN, SPC, WMR, PMR) for archiving (Status "For Archiving" - DAC), using the report /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE or /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE_STD, the system still shows the document in Delivery Processing transaction codes (/SCWM/PRDI, /SCWM/PRDO...) or in the Warehouse Monitor (/SCWM/MON), even if using the data source as "Database".
If the delivery was closed using the "Close Unfinished Deliveries" Check Monitor (/SCWM/CHM_LOG) tool, or it has a minor status inconsistency, the Check Monitor tool "Delivery Status (Only Check) and/or "General Delivery Status" may show the message "Doc. cat. &1 and status type &2 are inconsistent for &4 items" (/SCWM/CCHECK601), indicating the system found an inconsistency.

Archiving is not completed by using the report /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE or /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE_STD. These are the Preprocessing (Step 1) reports, which flags the documents ready for archiving (status DAC).
The Archiving of EWM Delivery Documents consists of three or four steps (depending on the Document Flow version).
Step 1: Preprocessing >> Use the report /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE or /SCDL/BO_ARCHIVE_STD to set status DAC.
Step 2: Writing (archiving) >> Write data to the Archiving system
Step 3: Deleting >> Deletes data from the EWM system database
Step 4: Postprocessing >> Delete legacy document flow for archived documents (not relevant for Advanced Document Flow)
After step 3, the documents will no longer available for processing in EWM (i.e. Check Monitor tools will not analyse consistency).
