Deletion of materials in sap

Hello Everyone

How to delete materials in a production order sap pp

I have tried to directly delete the material maintend in production order but it is not allowing to delete as it is giving an error message as item cannot be deleted.

but I need to delete this material can anyone help me out.

Hi Aniket,

You can able to delete the components of a production order with status created and released.

If the production order confirmed or material reservation completed then you can not delete components, check the production order status.
