Hi Team ,
Kindly need guidance for the below issue.
There is an impact of inventory in SAP compared to inventory in EWM often.
Client is asking us to analyze why this is happening repeatedly .
Of course this goes off after reprocessing queues.
(i.e.. Issues where transactions is performed in EWM however then get stuck when mirroring the transaction in SAP. Alarm will as example look like this: xxxxxxx Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 1.001- M : H00384 WH STRLOCN xxxxxxx ).
Is there any way we can avoid this error "Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use" from coming often.

Shashi

Hi All,
Thanks everyone for the response. Got a recommendation to implement SAP notes to avoid this issue getting struck at monitor.

Have you checked the system log for the actual error that caused the queue to fail?

Hi,
this typically happens if a goods receipt posting is stuck in the ERP inbound queue and a follow-up posting (e.g. storage location to storage location upon putaway in final destination) is sent by EWM shortly after.
If that is the case you would have to find out why your GR posting is stuck (so often).

Hi Shashi,
I would take the error message and check whether there are other queues for the same material. As SMQ2 is a nightmare for doing analyses use /SCWM/MON to get details of the ERP queues (there should be a node all the way at the bottom of the monitor).
Say, there was an open queue for an inbound process which has not been processed, you would then need to find out whether the issue is due to an permanent error (e.g. missing customizing, missing master data) or a temporary effect (e.g. user blocks purchase order).
You are writing "Of course this goes off after reprocessing queues" - does that mean reprocessing fixes the error queues? If so, I assume a temporary effect is the reason for the error queue.

Hi Sashi,
What transaction posting you are doing?Ppelase explain the process flow events. This is generally happens when batch number or status mismatch - which stop program to perform posting.

Hi Srabanjit,
Thank you for the response, I checked queue in smq2, I could not understand how to check which transaction is causing this issue.
I double clicked on the issue which gave me only deficit of stock details.
Where can we get more details about queue and how can we resolve the same (One case is due to stock qty mismatch between ECC and EWM) (Am quiet new to queue concept and need help on the same)
Regards,
Shashi
