Default values in Freight Units for Cross Border Mode of Transport

Hello experts,

Each Freight Unit offers a field to enter the Cross Border Mode of Transport as well as the Country of Means of Transport That Crosses Borders:

Is there a way to specify default values for this field?

The delivery, from which the Freight Unit is derived, offers a few fields such as "Mode of Transport Border" (screenshot below), but the entries made there don't carry over to the Freight Unit.

We're using S4HANA ON PREMISE 2020 SP04 (05/2022)

Hi Tim, we have the saame issue as you described. Actually we need to enter the cross border MoT manually as it's not forwarded from the field in the SD document what you showed. Do you got any helpful answer so far to your question? I checked the note 2423784 but it's not helping
