Hello,
there s a requirement as follows.
we receive an order to transport freight from your container freight station (CFS) in Nuremberg, Germany (CFS_NUR) to a CFS in Chicago, United States (CFS_CHI). You want to specify that all freight transported between Nuremberg and Chicago is to be routed by default via the ports in Hamburg (PORT_HAM) and New York (PORT_NYK) and their respective CFSs (CFS_HAM and CFS_NYK).
Process diagram
If road schedule is defined from CFS_NUR to CFS_HAM and sea schedule from CFS_HAM to CFS_NYK and then a road schedule from CFS_NYK to CFS_CHI.
That means system knows which path to take to deliver goods from CFS_NUR to CFS_CHI based on above road/sea schedules..........So why we need to define a default route indicating sequence of above locations ? This I cant understand ?

Hi Sachin
Default route is used to defined the Transports lane and possible to plan it in different Freight Documents.
Schedule are more for control the time frame of the transportations.
If you had a single FU stage need to plan it in 3 different document default route is one of the possible ways to do it.
