Default Qty on RF Receipt from PMR

Hello, I'm testing advanced production integration in S/4 Embedded EWM - When receiving HU for finished goods via RF, the quantity 1 is always displayed. Even if the quantity in PMR for finished goods is greater than 1, it is still displayed with 1.

Looks like the default quantity can't be changed with configuration. Otherwise, is there any way to change the default quantity? It is really appreciated if any advice. Thanks,

Hi Hironori,

the logic for the quantity/UoM determination is as follows:

1. Quantity + UoM is encoded in the scanned EAN

2. Packspec was determined, use quantity from packspec

3. Use the "biggest" UoM from material master

4. BAdI

Yup - the determination procedure for this process is defined in the warehouse number control settings (/SCWM/T340D) in field "Receive HUs Proc." (RCV_CTLIST).

Also, if a packaging specification is found, the packaging material is used from the packspec of course. If not, the default packing material as specified in the work center will be used.

Hi Jonas Blohm,

i am facing the same issue while using the rf transaktion "receive hu by hu".

The quantity is always set to "1 pc", even though i am using a packaging specification with the quantity of 2 pc.

The packaging material is determined correctly, so i can assume that the correct packspec was found.

I also dont use any EAN in this scenario.

Any idea why it is still not working?
