De-consolidation not considering the HU type from packspec

Dear expert colleagues,

When setting up the deconsolidation process we are facing an issue in the putaway the task from decon to the final destination bin.

A wrap-up of the standard process

1. POSC with steps DECON/PUT

1. DECON external step has automatic WT flagged and prod WT (as we need to create product WT to reserve a final bin already)

The final destination bin is determined based on the internal warehouse procedure packaging specification (condition 0WHT) when creating the putaway tasks after GR.

1. There we have maintained HU TYPE ELSM for the relevant levels
2. The final storage type has HU Type check activated

At the creation of the putaway HU in the deconsolidation center

1. The system correctly determines the packaging material we have put in our deconsolidation pack spec (procedure 0DKS)
2. ISSUE: The system however totally ignores the HU Type mentioned in that same pack spec and takes the default

   

   hu type from the mentioned pack mat…

Question: Does any of you have experience with this same issue and/or has some ideas for a solution?

Hello Juergen,

Since I dont get time to write blog, please find the screen shots how I achieve this. Deconsolidation with HU type based condition record.

This is my Decon step, fetching the YN01 HU type.

This is Decon Step/ /SCWM/DCONS. Automatic Proposal of ''Packaging material'' and HU type with YN01

Pack Spec. Maintained Packspec with HU type, 0DKS and DEKO work centre. This condition record 0DKS also works for IPK1( PAC) step in POSC.

Now, my decon with HU type is working.

I am also testing Decon with Nested HU with HU type check as shown above, I will keep you apprised.

You managed to do that? I have never got this running in any way. How did you set this up exactly and where do you see the proper packaging material being taken?

That issue was discussed in some questions already. As the WT for the final bin is created early on, it seems that the system does no HU type check at all...

Hello Juergen,

I am finally able to work with Deconsolidation with HU type check by maintaining condition record 0DKS. Also I am able to get automatic proposal of packaging material at Decon station. I am in last stage for Nested HU decon with HU type check. I will write a complete blog on this next week .
