Data Validation in the IBP Formatting Sheet (allow whole numbers X and X, otherwise error message)

SAP note 0002987751 (2987751 - IBP Excel Add-in: How to add Data Validation on a cell from 2005 add-in version - SAP for ...) details how to add Data Validation to a cell.

Has anyone currently successfully implemented the following:

• Allow whole numbers 9 or 10. Otherwise show error message?

using Data Validation?

I have not been able to make the same operational via IBPFormattingSheet => right click on relevant cell => Access IBP menu => Data Validation option.

This seems to have no result in the planning view.

Before applying validation, click on the cell next to data column and enable data validation

After this apply the condition. It should work
