Data validation in IBP, allow negative % up to -100% minimum

sap2.pngHello,

I would like one of my key figures to have the following data validation:

allowed to enter anything from -100% to +1000%.

Below is the condition I have entered (and yes I have selected data validation for that member). However it now blocks me from entering any negative value (eg. -20%)

Does someone know what exactly I should enter in order to be able to enter -% up to -100%?

Thank you!

Hi Eva,

The key figure that you are entering negative values into has been 'Enabled for Fixing' in the configuration. Such Key figure configurations don't allow Negative values.
Thus, if your requirement is to have Negative Values in the KF, please uncheck Flag 'Fixing Enabled' in the Key figure Configuration in the Planning Area.

Hello Eva,

For this, you'll need to allow decimals as well to be used. Furthermore, if you'd like to enter values from -100% to +100%, you should set the minimum to -1 and the maximum to +1 as the Data Validation setting can't differentiate between percentage and whole numbers.
Hope this helps!
