Data type related question

HI SCN,

As per my knowledge data is stored in time series and order series in Live Cache, here my question is how we differentiate the data  in DP time series and the data in SNP order series in same Live Cache.

I am looking for early reply.

Hi,

One easy way to differentiate is that order series data will have date,time and order number associated with it while time series data wont. This you can find out by right click-> show detail on a particular order quantity in planning book.

Hi Baji,

In definition of planning area we define the semantics. In this we mention whether its live cache key figure or time series key figure (000 or 001).

Go to MDSP_ADMIN, in details of key figures you will see the same.
