Data Integration is not generating time periods for the custom time profile

Hello Experts,

I created a custom time profile(W, M, Q, Y) for the period 2020 to 2030) and use Data Integration with Prefill Template -> With New Time Periods. But it's not generating any time periods.

Please advise.

I am not getting any errors. But when I download the time period file with Prefill Template -> With New Time Periods. it is coming blank.

Hi Srikant,

System cannot aggregate data from default calendar week to month. Pls change Period Type of time level Week to Technical Week. Activate time profile and then download time profile with pre-fill template.

If you don't want to use technical week as period type, create your own time profile data file and then upload it.

Hi Srikant,

What you are trying to do is not possible because in time profile calendar week cannot be mapped to calendar month without technical week concept.

Only way to create such type of time profile is following 4-4-5 type of calendar, hence it will become manual creation of time profile where calendar week will map to custom month.

1. Week
2. Custom Month Definition (Standard month is not possible)
3. Quarter
4. year

Yes, I want to create a custom time profile with the period type (W, M(Custom), Q, Y). I tried to create the custom time profile but getting the below errors:

Missing PERIODID for PARENTID .

Period was rejected due to other inconsistent periods.

I am struggling to understand PARENTID and PERIODID mapping. And how to generate the periodid for the time profile.

It would be great if you share a sample time profile.

Hi

Download time profile from SAPIBP1, UNIPA or SAP RDS (I cannot attach .csv file here)

- Remove Day periods (TP Level = 1)

- Remove TW Periods (TP Level = 2)

- Calendar Week definition will remains same

- Modify Month definition (so it always ends of sunday, end of calendar week)

- Modify Quarter Definition (So it always ends on Sunday when month ends, End of Month 3,6,9,12)

- Modiify year Definition (So it always ends on Sunday when quarter ends, End of Q4)

Then try uploading

As advised, I ran the "Create Time Periods for Time Profiles" job. I am getting the below error.

"Period types of time profile level 1 and 2 are not compatible"
