Data entry/edit for all time profile level

Hi,

Based on our clients requirement we have to set time profile at Day, Tech. Week, Calendar Week, Month, Quarter and Year. What we observe is that if Key Figures are set as 'Editable in current or future periods' , data can only be entered in planning views at Day, Month, Quarter and Year; and not when we select Tech. Week or Calendar Week in Planning View.

Also, when we modify the Key Figure setting as 'all editable' , data can be modified at all time profile levels including Tech. Week and Calendar Week. What is the logic behind this ?

Additionally, is there any workaround to have data entry possible at all time profile level - and also only in current or future periods (not all or in past)

Hi Prasad,

May I know you planning area storage time profile level?

If your storage time profile level is "Day", Planning view selection at Day, key figure base planning level is DAY "All Editable" backend all periods are able to editable, If you select planning view selection at "Week or Tech Week", key figure base planning level is Day "Editable in current or future periods" all periods allow to editable.

If this is not happening, raise OSS message to SAP.
