Data discrepancy between MM and EWM

Hi,

We come across data discrepancy between SAP MM and EWM with total quantity of materials in warehouse. (qty are more in MM warehouse than EWM)

Since the materials in MM are warehouse managed we can't either post the stock differences or can transfer to another storage location in .

I guess in this case you need to check the transaction "Adjust Serial Numbers at Warehouse-Number Level (/SCWM/SER_CON_CHECK). But it depends on your serial number requirement if this will work (I guess, never done something like that).

Hi,

for this you can use the "Stock Comparison ERP" (/SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK), which is part of the periodic tasks in Physical Inventory. With this report EWM is always right - means it will reduce or raise the IM stock according the stock in EWM.

But you should try to figure out the reason for this discrepancy to avoid this in the future.

I have executed transaction /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK. But, I'm getting an error while correcting error in ERP system.
