Customizing of inspection type 08 in S4 Hana public cloud

Hi all,

I want to define when they will be creating an inspection lot based on the 08 inspection type settings.

During the standard process, the best practice is to have one specific movement that will create an inspection lot, all others will work without creation.

At this moment, the only found possibility is to activate insp. type every time QM technician need to create an inspection lot.

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Manufacturing" for this question, as Inspection Type is an Object related to Manufacturing Line of Business.

Hi Sunil,

our client is interested in using the 08 control type, but based on basic settings we can set inspection lot creation for every movement only.

Compared to our experience from R3 we are looking for a way to set inspection lot creation only for specific movement - for example only for 309.

The reason is that our client needs insp. lot only in specific situations (they found broken items in warehouses, ad-hoc control, etc.).
