Hi all,
We are planning to implement aggregated planning. As part of that we have a requirement to update product and product location hierarchies automatically in the future as and when a product is introduced into APO for locations that are part of aggregated planning? Please suggest / advice on how to go about implementing this custom program?
Also, please suggest ways to extend a product from the lower hierarchy to the higher hierarchy/ geographical area/ country using a custom program or by any other means

Did you check /SAPAPO/STD_HIER_CREATE Report: Create standard hierarchy?
If you want custom development then please refer OSS note 1309645 which have all relevant details in attached PDF file "Define_Hierarchy_Structure.pdf"
