Custom Offline Jasper Report - FSM

Hi all,

i read about more flexible offline capabilities of HTML reports in the FSM 2105 release (print & send feature).

We are at the moment using the JASPER reports and no HTML reports at all. However, the disadvantage is the customized JASPER report is not available offline - as of my knowledge....

Is it now possible to use custom JASPER reports offline? How?

Or is this the "big" advantage of HTML reports - why they should be used...

Hi Deborah,

As you already said the offline capability is the "BIG" advantage of HTML reports over online JasperReports.

We did actually do a POC several years ago to make JasperSoft reports available offline on the mobile apps. This concept did however proof to be not successful mainly due to performance issues.

We therefore went instead to the solution with HTML reports that are offline available.
