Dear Team,

In the Monitor Purchase Requisition Items application, the client requires a few additional columns to be displayed, including:

  • PR Approver Name
  • PR Approval Date
  • PR Approval Time
  • Purchase Order
  • Purchase Order Item
  • PO Approver Name
  • PO Approval Date
  • PO Approval Time (Days)

We have checked for available BADIs related to this report but could not find any suitable options to add these custom fields.

Kindly suggest an appropriate BADI to add the custom fields to the Monitor Purchase Requisition Items application or advise how to develop a new custom report by copying the existing Monitor Purchase Requisition Items report to add mentioned custom fields.

Please provide a solution at the earliest

Regards,

Dear Team,

Thank you for your query.

We reviewed the Monitor Purchase Requisition Items application and confirmed that, in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the system does not provide any BADI or extensibility option to add additional fields such as PR/PO approver details, approval timestamps, or PO references directly into this standard app.

This application is built on a standard analytical data model that cannot be modified through enhancements or UI extensions.

Recommended and Supported Approach

Summary

Since the standard app cannot be enhanced, the custom analytical report approach is the recommended method to deliver all required additional fields in a compliant and upgrade-safe way.

The following cases are classified as consulting requests and should not be raised via a Support incident. This includes inquiries concerning:

    1. Advice or assistance relating to configuration, business process analysis, or implementation specific to the customer’s unique environment or already documented in Product Guides.
    2. ‘How-To’ questions seeking assistance with documented features.
    3. Assistance with customization of the core product, core functionality and/or problems or errors caused by customization that has been implemented or completed by customers or partners.

Best Regards,
Aishwarya
