Hello All,
during CTP run in sale order, system returns error 'Order could not be scheduled', that is usually raised when planned order cannot be created due to capacity constraint.
The error is raised ONLY if the required date in not feasible. If the required date falls after a certain date ( 10.04.2002 for instance), when there is available capacity on the resource, the date in confirmed.
If i create manually the planned order from product view with end date today, the order is scheduled foreward correctly (starts on 10.04.2020, and it's ok).
I think the problem is related to rescheduling in CTP, but i cannot find why. The Heuristic have 'backwards w. inversion' procedure.
thanks.

no pp/ds horizon is set. In fact, the orders is confirmed succesfully after a certain date, not in the short period.
I've already read the note you suggest, but bucket-oriented capacity check is not usefull in my senario. We use the time-continuous check.
it looks like there is an issue with the 'backwards+reversal' mode in the heuristic...
thanks.

Hello,
Hello,
Do you have PP/DS horizon?
As CTP check for make-to-stock production cannot be carried out outside the PP/DS horizon.
Use the checking horizon in ATP to make sure that no CTP check is carried out for make-to-stock production outside the PP/DS horizon, or use a sufficiently large PP/DS horizon.
The planning strategies define how to plan operations on resources. Operations are either planned finitely (on a continuous basis), infinitely , or finitely in relation to a bucket, depending on the settings of the resource and the strategy profile
For more details please refer SAP consulting note 744400 - CTP: Bucket-oriented capacity check in APO
