CTM Considering only Handling resource for planning

Hi Experts,

need help, i did some CIFing of Work centers and PPM for New materials from R/3 to APO, i generated SNP PPM from PP/DS PPM, changed and regenerated the CTM Profiles accordingly, but while planning CTM is not picking any Resources from PPMs while planning, only resource i can see is HANDLING resource, which i assume is used for managing the GR time.

Can any one please guide how i can get those resources in CTM Planning run.

Hello,

Please check the CTM profile under 'Basic settings' tab, for order creation and source of supply selection.

Also perform the CTM master data consistency check through transaction /SAPAPO/CTM01 - Consistency Check for CTM Master Data.

Also try to create manual planned order in planning book, //SDP94 and check weather SNP PPM is gets assigned to your order.

The resource capacity profile might not be fully generated in the LC for the complete planning horizon. You can use transaction /SAPAPO/REST02 to generate it.

The resource might not be updated in the LC with the correct bucket profile (start and end date time for each bucket). If you compare resources there is maybe a bucket offset. In the PPM the condition for the minimum and maximum value for the activity relationship cannot be satisfied due to the bucket offset. You can check it using transaction /SAPAPO/REST02.
