Hi all,
At a customer we implemented BADI /SCWM/EX_MFG_STAGE_METHOD to make sure that the staging method in the PMR-item is derived from /SCWM/PSASTAGE because they want to do cross-order staging for all materials (even if there is a specific batch in the PMR - which the standard doesn't allow).
Now we are facing the issue that when we want to create warehouse tasks to perform cross-order staging for this material with a specific batch, the system no longer takes into account the batch.

Is there a standard way to make sure that he takes into account the batch that was filled out in the PMR? Or is this standard behavior for cross-order staging?
Thanks!

Hello,
This is standard behaviour. For PMRs that contain batches or batch selection criteria, the system uses the staging method single-order staging only, to ensure that each manufacturing order gets a batch that fits to its requirements.
Cross order staging methods doesnt support to pick batches with batch selection criteria because of progamming.
For cross order staging, system only look into 3 fields
1) Entitled
2) PSA
3) Product ID
Programming no where looks into PMR or PMR items for cross order staging to pick batch selection criteria.

For Single order staging, system looks into below
1) The DOCID
2) Item ID

For single order staging, system is able to pick the batch selection criteria send from ERP .
