Credit Management at PGI giving error instead of warning

Dear experts,

I am getting credit error instead of warning when doing PGI. As per configuration, it should give warning message.

Any help?

Dear Muhammad,

This is the standard design at the PGI level credit check.

The PGI is the last step at shipping and the goods would leave your side. If the system would just issue a warning here, then the PGI could not be stopped.

So if the credit check at the time of PGI is failing then the system issues an error message and the goods issue for the corresponding delivery cannot be posted.

Thanks sis for your response. Actually I am newer to SAP and trying to learn SD / LE configuration on my own as I am currently working as power user of SD / LE during SAP implementation phase.

I was wondering if I had missed something at PGI level that caused error message instead of warning message. But you clarified my doubt.

Though I am not sure how to get access of SAP notes but I will try.
