creating classification view in Product master

Dear Experts,

I am trying to create a classification view directly in product master view I am getting below error message

Is it always we need to cif classification view from ECC  and i checked config for classification looks pretty much ok or may be i missed something

Hi,

i am mm/wm consultant but new to EWM. Even i am facing same issue , also CIF not working and i guess that we need to create class and characteristics in EWM. I hope that some expert will answer.
