Create Shipment VT01N tile/Business Catalogue in SAP S4H PUBLIC CLOUD edition

In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, the standard Create Shipment app (like in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA On-Premise) does not exist. You can easily check it via SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library and see that this app is available only for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud or On Premise

Instead, transportation and shipment processes are handled differently by Transportation Management, using APPs listed below: 

1. Manage Freight Orders – Used for planning and executing transportation.

2. Manage Outbound Deliveries – Helps in processing outbound deliveries, including carrier assignment.

3. Transportation Cockpit – For managing transportation planning.

4. Manage Sales Orders / Manage Outbound Deliveries  – The process relies on delivery-based shipping rather than a traditional shipment document.

If you are looking for a shipment process, you should explore the Transportation Management (TM) module available in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. If your scenario requires shipment handling beyond standard functionalities, you may need to integrate with external Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) or Freight Forwarders via APIs.

Create Shipment app is not a Fiori app. It is the good, old GUI transaction.

In addition from previous comments, I could add that:

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the transportation process based on shipment documents (VT01N) from SAP R/3 is not available.

In Cloud Public, transportation can be managed in two standard ways.

Without Transportation Management, outbound deliveries are processed individually. Picking, loading, and goods issue are executed per delivery, with mass processing available via standard Fiori apps. However, there is no transportation document, no delivery consolidation at transport level, and no consolidated printout. Any grouping is performed only from a warehouse execution perspective.

For scenarios that require grouping multiple outbound deliveries, a consolidated transportation document, and alignment between transportation and warehouse execution, Basic Transportation Management (TM) is the SAP-recommended standard solution in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

With Basic TM, outbound deliveries or sales orders generate Freight Units, which represent transportation demand. Multiple Freight Units are then grouped into a Freight Order, which serves as the consolidated transportation document and is the functional Cloud equivalent of the VT01N shipment. Printing is performed at Freight Order level. Warehouse execution in EWM remains delivery-based, but deliveries are logically grouped by Freight Order, enabling better synchronization between picking, loading, and transportation. Mass PGI is supported via standard Fiori apps.

In summary, VT01N and shipment documents are not supported in Cloud Public. For transportation consolidation and document-based planning, Basic Transportation Management with Freight Units and Freight Orders is the standard and recommended approach.

The transportation features of LE-TRA, especially the shipment and the shipment cost document, including all necessary objects, Master data, customizing and transactions, are not released in the S/4HANA Public Cloud.

It is recommended to use SAP Transportation Management functionality in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
