Hi all!!
we are using PPDS in our organization to plan and optimize the sequence of the planned orders of our finish good product. we have several steps chained in RSPC where we are launching various proceses. the most important ones, are two of them, the planning sequence (heuristic SAP_PP_002) and optimization (with a custom optimization profile).
Afterwards, we fix the interval, and so on, some of the planned orders get fixed.

our problems starts in the first step, the heuristic SAP_PP_002 is in infinite mode, and just trys to cover the requirements for the needed day. but sometimes, this days are firmed...
the next step is the optimization, but for those orders that are in firmed horizon, are not optimized, and gets stucked and ocupies capacity that should not be...
i see i have the choice to use planning offset, but this is a static number of days, and our firmed horizon can change, sometimes, 5 days, sometimes 10...
is there any way that a heuristic only creates the planned orders outside the firmed horizon???
any help would be apreciated! 🙂

Hello,
You can use planning time fence to create order out side the fixing interval means planning time fence.
However it is also static as you said planning offset period.
In that case may be you need to use BAdI like /SAPAPO/RRP_PLANNING method like RECEIPTS_SAVE Change the Planning Results as per your own logic.
