Hello Experts, I have a question for you.
The Project I am working on requires that we use the RF devices to count the products during the confirmation of a Task (either putaway, or picking). The scenario is the operator scans a material label and depending of the EAN "adds" the quantity". So if the operator scans two labels equivalent to 10 Pcs, the total count for the Task will be 20 pcs. On a extreme case, the operator has to scan 100 labes (with an EAN for 1 pc) to confirm a task for 100 Units. I am not sure this is an standard practice nor it is feasible with EWM. If you can share your opinion and if this can be achieved maybe with some development.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Miguel_Nava1 ,
" if this can be achieved maybe with some development." -> This is very much Possible and can achieved.
My Opinion:
My understanding is EAN is SKU even if different EAN for Same Product based on SKUs/Selling item.
Design level-> You need to create individual warehouse tasks (Warehouse Order *EWM Technical Terms) for each scanning EAN. As per your example: "So if the operator scans two labels equivalent to 10 Pcs, the total count for the Task will be 20 pcs" -> Two Labels=> 2 SKUs => 2 Warehouse Tasks
"On a extreme case, the operator has to scan 100 labes (with an EAN for 1 pc) to confirm a task for 100 Units."-> 100 Labels => 100 SKUs => 100 Warehouse Tasks
"the total count for the Task will be 20 pcs" => You can add extra fields to visible as Total identify as unit quantity Example 10 Pcs=> Scan => 10 Pcs=> Scan Total =20. 1PC => Scan => 1 PC=> Scan....up to 100 Scans => Total = 100
You can restrict the quantity manipulation on user screen. Example user can not change the quantity if it is EAN/SKU/Label.
Certainly some development is required in this case.
Please let us know if further questions.
Kind regards,
Ajit
